The Standard Plan suits businesses with occasional requirements and no ongoing commitment. Partnership and Partnership Plus are for businesses with regular or recurring needs, offering lower per-job rates, priority availability, reserved time slots, and access to the concierge errand service. The more the service is used, the better the rate.

HEALTH LOGISTICS PLANS
A dedicated pricing structure for healthcare providers
GP practices, care homes, and pharmacies have different requirements from standard courier clients. CainDirect's Health Logistics model is built specifically for healthcare providers with its own plan structure, its own rates, and no requirement to hold a courier plan. If you need prescription management, clinical document delivery, or care home logistics support, you can access those services directly on a Health Logistics plan.

HEALTH LOGISTICS - HOW PLANS INTERACT
Using courier and health logistics services together
Health logistics only
GP practices, care homes, and pharmacies can hold a Health Logistics plan, Standard, Partnership, or Partnership Plus, with no courier arrangement required. The two models are entirely independent.
Both services, independently
If your organisation uses both courier and health logistics services, you hold a position on each model separately, for example, courier Partnership and Health Logistics Standard. The plans are priced and managed independently.
Start where it makes sense
You are not required to commit to services you do not need. If health logistics is your primary requirement, start there. If courier work follows later, that can be added as a separate arrangement.
FREQUENTLY ASKED ABOUT PRICING
Common pricing questions
Are there subscription fees?
No. Partnership and Partnership Plus require a minimum monthly job commitment but there is no separate subscription charge.
How is mileage calculated?
Loaded mileage is calculated via Google Maps from collection to delivery address. Approach mileage is calculated from the nearest CainDirect Virtual Service Location (VSL) to the collection address. Where it is minimal or zero, it is not charged. Return mileage may apply where the delivery address is remote from the nearest VSL. Where it applies, it is confirmed at booking and charged at the same rate as approach mileage. CainDirect operates from four core VSL's - Lincoln (LN5 8HG), Sleaford (NG34 7BB), Grantham (NG31 6NZ), and Newark-on-Trent (NG24 1HD) - with additional service locations across the wider area. Minimum 5 loaded miles per courier job. All mileage confirmed at booking. No surprise charges.
Is a quote always agreed before work begins?
Yes. Every quote is agreed before any work is confirmed. No hidden charges or unexpected additions on completion.
Do health logistics clients need to be on a courier plan?
No. The Health Logistics model is entirely independent of the courier plans. A care home, GP practice, or pharmacy can hold a Health Logistics position, Standard, Partnership, or Partnership Plus, without any courier arrangement.
Why are health logistics minimums expressed in pounds rather than job count?
It means your monthly commitment reflects actual time spent, not the number of visits. A care home with frequent short deliveries and occasional longer sessions pays for what is used, there is no risk of hitting a job count minimum on short runs while longer sessions go uncounted.
