Coming soon to caindirect.co.uk - clearer plans, simpler prices
Over the past few weeks I have been working through the CainDirect website page by page. The aim is simple: if you are deciding whether to book, you should be able to see exactly what I do, how it works and what it costs, without having to call me to find out.
The changes are ready, and I will be rolling them out across the website over the next few weeks. Here is what is coming.
Simpler pricing
Every courier job will be a base charge plus one mileage rate - 95p a mile from collection to delivery, on every plan and every service. No minimum mileage and no long-run supplement. My travel to you will be 80p a mile, with the journey home included on every completed job. CainDirect is not VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay.
Three plans, clearly laid out
Whether you need Courier and Business Concierge support or Healthcare Logistics, you will choose from the same three plans. Standard is pay per job, from £45. Partnership gives you a monthly allocation at a lower rate - £160 a month covers the base charge for four jobs, with mileage on top. Partnership Plus is for businesses where CainDirect is part of the everyday operation. The home page will show all three side by side, for both services.
Healthcare Logistics, in full
The Healthcare Logistics page will set out its three plans in plain terms: HL Standard for same-day and one-off work at £45 an hour, HL Partnership for regular care home batch runs at £40 an hour, and HL Partnership Plus for delivery rounds and planned cover, priced after a short conversation. Sealed, tamper-evident bags will be available on request at no extra charge, so each pharmacy or care home can follow its own procedure.
Everything in one place
The FAQ, Service Scope, Service Terms, Policy Handbook and Privacy Policy will be linked from every page, and a new footer will carry my phone number, email and working hours. If you want to know what happens when a collection is not ready, or how cancellations work, the answer will be there in writing before you book.
Why it matters
CainDirect is built on being straightforward to deal with - one person, one standard, no surprises. The website should work the same way. Clear prices and clear terms mean that when you call, we can talk about your requirements rather than the small print.

While the updates go live, some pages may still show the previous details. If anything is unclear, or you have a question about plans, prices or how something works, call me directlyand I will give you a straight answer.
